Built different

Engineered like a dirt bike. Priced like nobody else.

01

Instant torque

Electric punch from a dead stop. No clutch, no throttle lag, no warm-up — twist and go.

02

Real off-road suspension

Hydraulic front forks and an adjustable rear mono-shock. Tuned for rocks, roots, and ruts, not driveways.

03

50+ mile range

50–56 miles per charge — Trail XL's larger 25Ah pack gives you a bit more. Two or three full trail days between top-ups.

04

Near-zero maintenance

No oil, no spark plugs, no carb. Charge it. Ride it. Replace pads and tires like any dirt bike.

A Sur-Ron-class electric dirt bike for less than half the price.

The whole pitch, in one line.

Same class. Same power. Not the same price.

JoltMoto vs the bikes everyone copies.

Questions before you order

Straight answers — same as you'd get over text.

If your question isn't here, text us. We answer same day.

  • The JoltMoto Trail and Trail XL are off-road electric dirt bikes. In most U.S. states — including Oregon and California — they are not street-legal as delivered. Off-road use on private property, OHV parks, and designated trails is typically legal with no registration required (California requires a $10 OHV permit for public off-road areas). If you want to ride on public roads, you would need to register it as a motorcycle with your state DMV, which may require modifications, a title, and a motorcycle endorsement on your license. Most of our riders use these on trails, tracks, and private land — exactly what this bike is built for.
  • Both variants run the same 4,500W motor, the same 72V electrical system, the same 47 mph top speed, and the same IPX6 weather sealing. The differences are real but small: Trail XL gets a larger 25Ah battery (vs 22.5Ah on Trail), bigger wheels, and a longer rider-height range. Choose Trail (17″/14″, 72V 22.5Ah, rider height 5′2″–6′1″) if you want a nimble, flickable bike for tight trails and technical riding, you're on the shorter or lighter side, or this is your first electric dirt bike. Choose Trail XL (19″/17″, 72V 25Ah, rider height 5′2″–6′5″) if you're a taller rider (5′10″+), you ride rougher terrain with bigger rocks and roots, or you want that full-size dirt bike feel. Bigger wheels roll over obstacles more smoothly and absorb terrain better at speed; the larger battery gives you a bit more range too. Not sure? Trail is the more popular starting point. You can always text us and we'll help you decide.

Straight talk on payment

Why Cash App, and not Stripe?

One question we get a lot. Here's the honest answer.

Most major payment platforms — Stripe, Square, PayPal— treat high-power off-road electric bikes like ours as motor vehicles for underwriting purposes. A 47 mph bike sits well past the legal e-bike threshold (28 mph in every U.S. state), and merchants in the motor-vehicle bucket face heavy underwriting, mandatory hold periods on funds, and the constant risk of an account freeze if the algorithm decides we look “high risk.”

We’re a small operation shipping direct from California. We’d rather move your money cleanly than spend weeks fighting underwriters every time we ship a bike.

Cash App is a peer-to-peer payment servicefrom Block, Inc. P2P transfers don’t apply the same merchant-category restrictions that card-processor merchant accounts do — it’s the same payment path you’d use to send a friend rent or buy a used car privately. You send, you get an in-app receipt instantly, we get notified, your bike ships.

01

Built by Block, Inc.

Cash App is run by Block, Inc., the publicly-traded U.S. company that also operates Square. Not a fly-by-night payment app — same infrastructure stack that processes billions in card transactions.

02

Bank-grade encryption

Cash App uses end-to-end encryption and the same fraud-monitoring systems Square's merchant platform uses. Every transfer is monitored in real time.

03

Instant proof of payment

Your in-app receipt lands the second the transfer goes through. You're never wondering if it sent or how to prove it later.

04

Confirm-first policy

We never collect a cent until we've confirmed your variant is in stock and answered every question over text or email. No back-orders. No surprises.

Prefer bank wire?

Bank wire / ACH accepted.

Same confirm-first policy, same no-chargeback reality, just sent from your bank instead of an app. We send wire instructions privately once we confirm stock — text or email us first. Text us and ask for wire details.

Heads up: Cash App’s protections cover unauthorized access to your account — peer-to-peer payments themselves don’t carry credit-card-style chargeback rights. Bank wire is the same: once the wire clears, it’s done. That’s exactly why our policy is to confirm stock, answer every question, and let you read the FAQ before any money moves. We’re real people — text us first.
